Participant Notice

Before you complete the assessment

This notice explains how assessment responses may be used when a firm or organisation asks participants to complete the diagnostic.

Why you were invited

Your organisation may be using this diagnostic to understand succession readiness, client continuity, team depth, retention conditions, and future hiring needs across a firm, practice, office, or team.

What you should answer

Answer from what you can credibly see in your role. If you do not know, choose the closest neutral or not-sure answer where available.

What not to include

Do not enter client names, privileged matter details, compensation details, medical information, personal allegations, or confidential information that is not needed for talent planning.

How results may be reported

Results may be included in management reporting. The recommended enterprise setup uses confidential respondent labels and aggregated patterns rather than participant names, unless named reporting has been clearly agreed before participation.

Not a performance review

The assessment is intended to identify organisational patterns and talent risks. It should not be used as a standalone performance review or employment decision tool.

Why your email may be used

Your email may be used to send and track the invitation. Names are optional and should usually be left out. Assessment answers should be stored separately from direct personal identifiers wherever possible.

Your responsibility

Use your best judgment and answer only from information you can credibly observe. Do not include sensitive or unnecessary personal information about yourself, colleagues, clients, or third parties.

Questions

If you are unsure how your response will be used, ask the person who invited you or contact matt@mattpatterson.ca before completing the assessment.
